“I graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry. After my study abroad experience in Brazil, I discovered my love for photography and videography. I came back in 2010 and bought my first camera. I never knew I had the eye for it until I became intertwined with my creative side. Since then, I have developed my storytelling skills with photos and videos. I think it’s important that my work has a story behind it. When I look at my photos I always remember that exact day and I want my clients to have that same nostalgic feeling.”
Why is your website called ‘itstheturtle’?
“I acquired the turtle nickname in college and have been associated with the animal since then. Turtles are symbolic of wisdom, persistence, and innocent energy. I am persistent with my goals, I try to achieve them in whatever way possible. I have a pretty “chill” personality which help me get along with everyone.”
What kind of wedding packages do you have?
“There are 4 different types of packages I can offer; if none of them fit the needs of the couple, I would be happy to talk with the bride and groom to be and put something together they want for their big day.”
What else do you love to do besides photography?
“I am also a cinematographer; I love to put the story of a wedding together by video’s I capture throughout their big day.”
